Peel season continues from now through February or March! If you didn’t read Linda’s blog about peels, fall and winter are considered peel season because their reduced temperatures and limited hours of sunlight are ideal conditions for healing. Of course, you can get a chemical peel any time of year, but personally, we love getting them done before it’s time to relax at the beach or by the springs.
You probably already know this, but there are different peels for different issues! Here at Samano Aesthetics, we carry a wide variety of chemical peels to help address our patients’ most common skincare concerns. Here are just a few of our favorites:
- The Perfect Peel. Sounds too good to be true, right? This peel got its name because it takes exactly 7 days to heal from start to finish. This peel is awesome for getting rid of uneven texture and hyperpigmentation from acne and scarring. Additionally, your aesthetician can add a number of boosters to help improve its effectiveness. This one has dramatic results - you can see the dark spots coming off right before your eyes!
- Glytone Pyruvic Acid 50 Peel. Not all peels are as dramatic as the perfect peel. Our resident aesthetician, Linda, loves using the pyruvic acid peel as a follow-up peel in an acne treatment regimen. This peel is more gentle, although it still penetrates deeply through the skin. It helps reduce pore size and uneven skin tone that are associated with acne-prone skin.
- Glytone Neck, Hand, and Body Peels. That’s right - peels aren’t just for the skin on your face! Glytone offers a number of specialized peels for other areas of the body, including the neck, the back and chest, the eyes and lips, and even the hands! If you’re not convinced of the benefits of a hand peel, younger-looking hands take years off of your overall appearance. Think about it - they’re your first point of contact during a handshake. Make your first impression a good one!
As we mentioned before, we have an arsenal of incredible peels at the ready to help you with your skincare needs.
